    Where does Bukowski stand among 20th century writers?

    Why would anyone read 30-40 books by an author they don't even rank among the top 100 of the 20th century? (if by "read most of his work" you mean that kind of figure) Seems like a waste of time. Politics is the stock trade of politicians. That doesn't make them any more trustworthy.
