I'm American but have lived in France for 17 years. I earn my keep teaching and translating, but love the arts, beekeeping and vinyl records. I write poetry and essays, and I published a novella called The Ice Mine in 2018. I wrote and staged a play moons ago. Two lovely kids, a cat, a wife (on paper) and basically a decent and solitary fellow who drinks far too much. A fan of Bukowski since about 2000. I want to visit Ethiopia. I like plants.
