This bukowski documentary was broadcast in Norway 1992. It is an Italian mini documentary. Luckily I had a VCR at the time.

The short Bukowski interview was broadcasted in Norway in early 90's, and it was I who taped the video from TV that time and gave it away to a Bukowski collector in the USA. He had never seen it before, and earned enough some bucks on it later :) ... I think the interview was made by an Italian...

I got another and longer version in dvd . There's more from the reading and at the end you can see Buk and his wife are back in their hotel packing their luggage and says goodbye to the crew. But it is a very good documentary :)

hamburg reading dvd I got the hamurg reading on DVD. The title is the same as the cd. It's in B/W and it have some voiceover in german, but you can hear Buks voice in background. It also shows Buk, his wife and cam crew in a boat on the river in hamburg and in their hotel, at the streets, etc...

Can't see if it got eng.subtitle, but it looks like it got more extras than in the 2003 version. The French version i got, are from 2003 and the Japanese from 2001. The eng. subtitled version i got are from 2006, but it's not made for commercial sale.

It's more true to the story and it is in B/W, not color. The different scenes are more raw than in Crazy Love, espessially the corpsescene at the end. I got the DVD from a friend of mine, who also collect Bukowski movies. And she is a member of a filmclub. So i don't think the DVD is released...

I think Lune Froide (Cold Moon) is one of the best Bukowski film ever. It's got more of the dark humour than the other Buk movies. And especially the last 15 min. of the film is very correct to the shortstory " The Copulating Mermaid Of Venice". Anyone here who have seen it?? I was lucky...
