I'm scratchin' my head trying to remember Watermelon Sugar. I read it many, many years ago and liked it then. But, there's a lot of stuff I liked as a kid which I can't connect with anymore.

I can't even commit to memory the full titles of most of his books. But I remember (most of) the poems and stories in them.

"One of these days!" The Honeymooners is the greatest. Loved that show. All the ups and downs of the human tragedy played out as a comedy which everyone relates to and doesn't feel so alone in their misery anymore.

I got some lines and artifacts, but they popped in only once in a while. Sure beats the reading at Bellvue quality! I'm real happy with both these DVDs. Great addition to my growing collection.

The first Bukowski I ever read was the poem, "The Aliens." Next, I read a clip from Ham on Rye about the white cat that was about to be killed by the dog with everyone watching. Both pieces were found online. They turned me off Bukowski and I didn't try to read any more for several years...
