The term "one-trick pony" might fit him as an actor, but I still enjoyed the hell out of The Sopranos. He and Edie Falco made a nice pair and the series writing overall was fantastic. R. I. P. TONY SOPRANO ! ...still see those ducks in the swimming pool...

What a crying shame and at 51 at that! I loved watching The Sopranos on TV, so much so I later bought the box with all the DVD's at Amazon. Gandolfini was also pretty good in "The Last Castle" where he played a prison warden trying to put down a revolt.

R.I.P. James Gandolfini.

Maybe the right time for watching season 1 again.
