Ecco Press must have told Bukowski; "Please Mr. Bukowski can you sign your name so people can read it." because in their signed limited copies of 1993 he again fully spells out his name in his signature.

I'm pretty sure Ecco press never told Bukowski anything about the way he signed his name, since he was dead when they started publishing his books, but what do I know.

Scott's War and Peace descriptions are really entertaining to me. I guess he's referring to all those signed blank pages Martin had him sign over the years to pimp the posthumous books.
Where he got ecco I don’t know.
