An Empire of Coins

Hey all,
After rereading An Empire of Coins a few times, I still cannot understand the meaning of the poem. It is one of his great poems and Id love to get a feel for the meaning of it. Any ideas would be appreciated!

Um, not giving a shit about not giving a shit? That seems too flippant and it's more complicated than that. Buk gives all sorts of clues throughout the poem as to what he's trying to capture, or get rid of. Maybe that last line is it, or not.
