THE legendary City Lights bookstore sells berets? I really hope you're joking (but I doubt you are).

The Beat Museum sells berets, not City Lights.
Also, I did not mean to make it look like I was ragging on the Beat Museum. I have been there for a poetry reading and although it is commercial, they do host many poetry readings and the owner is clearly a fan of the beats.
