I guess the point being made is that you basically created a post to inform us that oxygen and water are important to human survival. Glad to hear you like Ask The Dust. Most of us do too.

My apologies for being deeply sarcastic. The whole 'Bandini Quartet' is worth checking out, as is most of his other fiction, in my opinion. The Road to Los Angeles is out of kilter with the other three Arturo Bandini novels though.

Wait Until Spring, Bandini; Ask the Dust; and Dreams From Bunker Hill are among the best books I've read. The Road to Los Angeles is among the worst books I've read.

I differ from PS, I loved Road to Los Angeles. :p

I agree that Dreams from Bunker Hill and Ask the Dust are excellent. Ask the Dust is an all time favorite.
