"For if I truly began it would end in somebody's death..."

Wrote down two stanzas from a book I had been reading at a large chain store, goes exactly like this:

for
if I
truly
began
it would
end
in
somebody's
death:
theirs or
mine

so
I
let them
have
their
little
victories
which
they need
far
more
than
I
do.

and have NO idea what the title is, or where I can find it. :( help, please?

chronic

old and in the way
The poem is everybody talks too much from You get so alone at times that it just makes sense.

I looked it up and my copy of You Get So Alone At Times That It Just Makes Sense and the page was dogeared. It's a nice poem.
Welcome to the forum candiceness and tell me how do remember that much of a poem but not remember the title? DO you smoke pot before you go into the book store?
