Moxie being one of those words Bukowski used on occasion.

Used to be a restaurant chain around here called Moxie's. Might still be around. I don't get out much anymore.

Well Carol and I went to Galco over the weekend and brought home a couple boxes full of weird sodas. She is on the quest for the world's greatest root beer. Anyway, I bought a bottle of Moxie, and I just finished drinking it.

It tastes like dirty sock water. Only not as refreshing. Barley carbonated, and "flavored" with something called genetalia root. Well, it tasted like genetalia anyway.

Avoid Moxie (the drink) at all costs.
