hi guys!
I'm Italian.
I find a sentence in "Compagno di Sbronze" (Ita), a short story collections that in USA is contained in "Erections, Ejaculations, Exhibitions and General Tales of Ordinary Madness".
I try to traslate the quote:

"Our sins are built in the sky to create our hell, of which evidently we need."

Can you tell me the real sentence?

I know: it's hard 'cause it's only a sentence between a millions words...
Maybe someone was hit by that thought about hell and sins.

maybe if you tell a little more about the story. you know - its plot; names of people in it, etc.

The story is "A bad trip" (Erections, Ejaculations, Exhibitions and General Tales of Ordinary Madness pg. 440 or Tales of Ordinary Madness pg. 200).
