Its funny how his novels resonates differently with one when reading them again several years later.

Just reread Women. It's way better than I remember. As a youth I thought it boring and only focused on the sexual descriptions. The book got way more depth than that.

Its not really the most sexy parts. I mean Chinaski is a middleaged man at the time often struggeling with drink induced impotency.
