The handwritten note by "Jon (or Jan) Welch, Ed." would be, most likely, Jon Webb, Editor. If I was listing a book in excess of $5 grand, I'd chase down who that might be and not just guess at the spelling, but what the hell - they are not dealers. A nice copy, a big price.
