Just discovered this site. Just discovered Bukowski. Was hungover and couldn't get out of bed - found an old copy of Ham on Rye my mother had left me. It had been sitting in that crazy bookshelf for twenty years, undiscovered. The book opened itself and ran like hot gold through my veins for a day. Now Factotum.
