our database gives the date "circa 1965", but we can get it more precise:
The Watts-riots ended August 17, 1965 and Bukowski's letter that appeared with the poem in 'Kauri #10 Sept/Oct 1965' is dated Sept 5, 1965.
So at least we can shoot the "circa".
