Looking for something about Bukowski's view of Classics.

I don't know where I've read but I am fairly certain it stated Bukowski, it went something like that "I'd rather hear a story about a homeless man in NY than read a classic about Greek Gods..."


Or something like that, does it ring a bell for anyone? Would appreciate it immensely, thanks!
