Movie knock-off of Bukowski's Women

Have any of you watched Long Nights, Short Mornings (2016)? It is strikingly similar to Bukowski's Women. The book is actually presented in the film, but the entire movie feels like a knock-off.

Honestly, I loved the movie regardless. Just wanting to hear some thoughts!
