Illustrations by Dennis Eichhorn. It's not rare because it's hard to find but because most collectors -if not all- have Real Stuff #2 but not #1. I wonder why ;)

I think you'll find the art is by the other guy, Michael Dougan and the story was written by Dennis. And how good are those facsimiles of Bukowski's letters and doodles? Very nice. More please

you might be right. Michael Dougan is credited as you can see in the first pic, though it doesn't really say who did the art.
