SOA & Buk connection?

Can someone tell me why the forum membership is arranged by SOA-type titles & biker patches? I don't see the connection. It made me wonder if Buk had any connection to biker culture. I don't recall any. Is it just that moderators like the show? The show's alright in my book.

Is this new? I don't remember this from visits here over the last couple years, though I tend to not visit the forum.
