There's a mag for travellers in Thailand named 'Farang' (speak like: 'Fuck' plus 'lung' minus the 'ck' inbetween!), which means 'foreigner', 'non-Asian'.
In the November 2006-issue there was a page with the 'Top-5-Drinkers of the 20th century' and BUK made it there. One could certainly discuss for hours and nights about their choice for the 'Top-5'. But, anyway - here it is:

Ha! I don't know about this one....BUK was certainly a big drinker, but not to the degree of abandon as a Dylan Thomas or Jack Kerouac.
