Anyone seen it? Based on the Willy Vlautin book. A little gem of a movie, I say. Well shot, well acted...good stuff.

I read Northline, and liked it quite a bit too. I'll certainly get another Vlautin book...he's 2 for 2 so far.

His third was really popular at work because it was... different in tone and character than his first couple. His audience may have shifted with Lean on Pete since I saw some older ladies buying it... not quite so hard luck as the first two.

But I should check out Northline.

I really like Vlautin's novels so I will try to check the movie of The Motel Life out too. I thought his latest one, Lean on Pete was excellent too. They're all pretty depressing though.
