Does anyone have an idea who the 'great soprano' in this poem is?
My guess would be Maria Callas.

She did sing in Los Angeles in 1974 (if we're to take the poem literally) so I think that's a good guess.

I don't know how you comfort a dead man, but Martin perfected the art of pissing on their graves.
