Applied for a transfer when the politics, political correctness, discrimination and other sundry things that drive you mental, got too much. Autumn means winter is coming before too long and that's never a good feeling. I prefer Spring, where you can smell the season's change in the air. For a couple of months it's great then you boil to death in summer and complain about that too :D

I've seen a mountain of what I'd say are retirement age men being sent to us as short term contractors on jobs we do. It's often hard and heavy work and a lot of these guys simply can't do it anymore. At a time when they should be winding down their work lives they've found themselves on the job...
