That "interview" appeared in Throb #1 or #2, can't recall which one now. It was reprinted in 2003 in an Aussie mag. Both are expensive and hard-to-find.

I don't have Sunlight Here I Am handy now. Wasn't this included in that book?

I know that I've read it before also, and I don't have either of the mags you mention so I'm sure that you must be right about " sunlight"
 
Rod McKuen is a dreadful poet, but he is also one of the most successful singer/songwriters ever (no accounting for taste, eh?). You might remember that insipid, drivel-laden ballad "Jean" from the 1960's: Jean, Jean, roses are red...
