The paperbacks arrived that will soon be stripped and made into glorious hardcovers and clamshells....

It almost hurts to remove these covers as they have a really nice suede feel to them. Not like your standard paperback. Really a sweet job...

Well, they've been ordered. Now, we wait a week and Hosho McCreesh will be on the shelf in a Barne... erm, Generic National Corporate Bookshoppe.

And now WE wait a week and a bit for a PHOTO to post across the various social medias! Thanks, again, for subtly encouraging Barne...erm, the Generic National Corporate Bookshoppe to carry something readable.

Now all we need is a riot...

I hope that's ok my posting that. I would have bought a copy direct from the site itself but the postage almost doubles the price of the book to send all the way to England so I thought anyone else put off by that might be interested.

All good, for sure. I know the postage is awful -- it's enough to almost reconsider catapults. I would never begrudge anyone who wants to get one of my books. It will always be an honor for me. So thank you for supporting the book.

This just in A Deep & Gorgeous Thirst by some mysterious guy with the strangest name, Hosho McCreesh! I think i'll give it a spin. Although i'm a little wary. The cat can't put a pic of himself in there? Hmmm. Does this Hosho person actually exist?

All kidding aside, way to go mother-ef'r! I'm already bustin a gut about burritos, doctor watches, Van Halen, fireworks, "mixes drinks like he's conducting the symphony". And a thank you? Nooo. Thank you. I shall raise my glass and nod my chin baby!

A birdie told me that a certain book arrived in-store today... I'll get some pictures tomorrow, or whenever I have time to set it up someplace. Super-geeked out about it!

That makes this a proud day indeed! Hardback and clamshells are well underway at BoSP HQ...we're shaping up for an all-nighter now that we've got steak-taco-and-Negra-Modelo power!

This is what Hosho's book looks like on a shelf. Or a display, I guess. Haven't sold any yet, but the year is young.

PEP- The yellow bag is a word game in a banana... Uh, that sounds weird. It's actually a good game for grown ups who don't like board games.

Glister is a word. I looked it up, having never heard it before. I thought that it was a typo of Glisten... It is correct.

Is that the word or is there another one that you mean?

That's what I meant. I thought it was a typo of glisten too. Really it's just a clever trap. I see how it is.

I really had to make sure before I ordered my plate to print the back of the hardcover. If it was a typo, I was gonna correct it...
