Hi-
My recent employment experience reminded me of a short story I read by Bukowski in which he was issued some too-small boots and tormented in several other ways by his colleagues until he left the job, reflecting that "the American schoolyard had beat him again." Does anybody remember the name of that story? I read it years ago in an anthology; I don't remember the name of the anthology. :(

I searched the database here at Bukowski.net but since I don't know the title of that story it is hard to find the book it's in.
