Bukowski's army story

When I was a teen I scrubbed away my acne boils with a cactus and I didn't have to join the Bundeswehr later!

How come? Did they think you were too scary looking, or having a serious skin disease? :)

I guess all of it plus I had read Bukowski.

"You like Charles Bukowski? No we can't use you here, even if there would be a war."

Bukowski? I guess it's quite understandable then. :D

You have the original yearbook, Bill? Wow! How did you get that?

I have the year book as well. He looks fine in the year book. The image on the cover of Ham on Rye doesn't really look touched up to me. There's also a picture of Buk in his ROTC uniform. He looks like he's 40 in his yearbook. He also looks like a scrawny dork. You know the type...probably kept to himself, was picked on and occassionally snapped and lunged at someone with retard like strength. He was probably laughed at while fighting. Definitely fits the school shooter type. I'm glad the rage went into writing instead of trench coats and sawed off shotguns.
