Much to my regret, I gotta admit Spain played fairly well tonight. If they play half as well next Sunday, Germany is surely TOAST! ;)

Funnily enough, I'll be on the plane to Buffalo next Sunday and I'll miss the match. Ha!

Yes it was. I'm not a great tennis fan, but it was an incredible battle.

I played tennis as a teenager, and I used to love watching Bjorn Borg, Jimmy Conners, Johnny Mac, Ivan Lendl, Gabriella Sabatini :eek:, Boris Becker, and the whole lot in the 70s and 80s. My interest has waned over the past 15 years or so, but that was one for the ages. Congrats to both players, but Nadal was two points better over 5 hours of pure guts (with rain delays, it was probably more like 7 hours total).
