Highlight of the day or didn't see that coming

Thought a new thread was in order.
We are driving along a street in our home town-stopped at a stop light-go figure. A dove lands on the car and peers in to the sun roof for a good 30 seconds-until the light changes then flies off.
Thats was the highlight of the day and I didn't see that coming.
Take it away kiddies. The strange, original or gloriously mundane that makes putting heels to the floor worth while.

I was at work on Wednesday and was trying to find a marker that worked. I grabbed a Sharpie and tested it on a piece of cardboard, unconsciously drawing Basquiat's crown doodle thing. seconds later my phone gave an email alert and it was from an art magazine daily round-up and the first word was Basquiat.

a nice coincidence.
