Stern is a pop figure and an entertainer...nothing more. While there might be amusement attached to his product, there is no validity nor pertinence. The jokes are based upon nothing but insights and observances into certain socio-sexual banalities and upon conforming reports, all put-upon us by the well scripted executions of his team. He is not involved in a creative medium that will allow HIMSELF any individual growth...therefore there can be none spilling-over for his audience. Fun and funny and outrageous, perhaps...but never Art.
