On that note, I'd love to actually read B's essay on President what's-his-name's speech, when B actually wasn't there but bullshitted his way to an A.
 
I do not know the dates for Write magazine. Where might I be able to
read these poems, including those published when he was 26. Thanks
for the information thus far.
 
I've often wondered if any of Bukowski writing had been found when he was in his late teens and early twenties...perhaps none exists...or none remain.

You can read Buk's own description of one of his early stories in the poem "my old man", which originally appeared in Love is a Dog From Hell, later in the Run With the Hunted sampler...
