Hi Everyone,
Just a quick note to say that I went to Linda's reading and was sitting in front of the man who was snoring. It was not gentle snoring!
In any case, for me, it was a very dear opportunity to hear Linda read. After reading about her since 1976 (?), I was happy that we were both still alive and happy to have the chance to see her and listen to her. I sensed, from a woman's point of view, that Bukowski was still very much with her in terms of the love remaining in her heart.
Matt Sesow was also a pleasure to listen to and to see his art. The person who escorted me to this event purchased the original cover art piece from Linda's book. My favorite piece was the one on page 33 of her book.

P.S. I was too shy to introduce myself to Linda. Anyway, it didn't seem the appropriate thing to do! Truthfully, I just loved her.

you're such a modest person. i see your point. very sensitive indeed.
Not modest, Roni....just shy, or as the old saying goes, "the piece o' shit around whom the world revolves!" Compared to Linda, I am really a featherweight:) She seemed to be really comfortable.
