politics.. delegates.

Here's my biggest fear in this election. I'm afraid that there are still WAY too many rednecks who, no matter what will never vote for a GDN. (their words, and I've heard it said out loud)

Pisses me all off. Far too many people in the US are to goddamn stupid to know a good thing when it's in their face.

ROC

It is what it is
Of course you mean 'too god damn stupid'.

If only every single US citizen had some ridiculous prejudice and stayed away on polling day.
Then maybe the message would get through.

This is true and sad. The same people that will not vote for a black man will not vote for a woman. Still, I'd rather us lose the election and put up our best candidate without regard to color, sex, etc, than to put up a white man out of fear that we as Americans are too redneck to vote for anyone else....

i guess so....

I would take either of the other two, with Obama in the number one spot.

Will he change anything? Who knows. Will McCain? Nope. He has promised to not change a thing. Seems that the wars and economy are doing just great....

It's hard to read some of these stories without reflecting back. I'm a drop-dead liberal on many issues, although I can share a slim few of the conservative values on certain issues.

I would prefer less government, but it seems clear to me that it's better to have an incompetent oversight of business than none at all.

Packaging engineers need to have their ball-bags encased in unopenable plastic with a CD/DVD strip that leaves a sticky residue on their dick forever.

Now:

I'm going to piss some people off here, but here goes:

Real Estate: The land belongs to the people. Those who own property for anything other than a residence or a place of business ought to be forced by law to offer that land to others at a price that doesn't leave one's bunghole feeling like the Grand Canyon.

Insurance: Anyone who makes a buck off of the misery or legal needs of others ought to hack their nuts off with a rusty grapefroot spoon. In most cases, one can't even use it unless the world comes to an end, in which case, it'll be worthless. Fucktarded.

Bankers: Seriously. WTF? You charge me to give you my money? Fuck off.

Worst of the worst: Majority shareholders in corporations, THE CREME DE LA CREME of the business world. What a bunch of skanks, who sit at the walnut table, eating doughnuts and slobbering coffee on their Armani and/or Mizrahi suits. They don't do the work, but they demand how hard we should work to meet the needs of their fat, lazy, scum-riddled asses, even when the work isn't there, they insist we hire people so that billable hours will meet quotas; meanwhile, our colleagues are short on hours and thinking of jumping ship...one would think they are uneducated, but we know better, right?

Marx was right. I only wish he could be here to sodomize all of these assholes.

So, I may vote for Obama, or perhaps Elmer Fudd. Word has it he has his shit together.

Sometimes tough times require tough choices. Just like labor unions began and florished when business was so far over the line with the abuse of their labor force, so goes the oversight. Once the wallstreet "robber barons" have stolen the money and flushed our future, then the oversight comes in.

Too bad it was not any earlier.

I get tons of e-mail junk and I have lots of conservative friends. So I get the one about how the anti-Christ is going to be of Muslim roots and will be preaching change so it must be O'bama. I am going to vote for Obama just because that crap is being sent by people much worse that the anti-Christ.
I work with a guy who is praying Al Gore gets into the race. Like we use to say "Fuck the world" Have a nice day and thank you for your time.:)
