New Year's Greetings, Wormwood Reviews, various pamphlets, etc (Relentless Like the Tarantula and All the Assholes... are buried in there, among other stuff, with some reading copies acting as a bookend (hmmm... a first PB of Women acting as part of a bookend. I need to get my shit together and re-arrange):

The good wife and I just finished moving a few weeks back, and it's been "get shit up on shelves" mode for a while. I really need to get this better organized.

But it's all gently-placed and the better smaller items are all in bags or poly sleeves. And this is a walk-in closet out of the sun's rays, so no chance of spine fading. And we have dogs and a security system, if you were wondering.

Very nice collection, PS! You've got a good selection of hard covers.

(Many here should be canonised for there diligence and dedication to a cause. It's magnificent to see people caring so much about something. Seriously.)

Here is my humble list (in order of purchase, if memory allows):

1: What matters most is how well you walk through the fire.
2: Ham on Rye.
3: The last night of the earth poems. (bought in L.A. pasadena.)
4: The days run away like wild horses over the hills.
5: Post Office.
6: Tales of Ordinary Madness.
7: Factotum.
8: Sifting through the madness for the word, the line
9:Bukowski in pictures.
10:Photocopy of - 'Rimbaud be damned'.
11: The roominghouse Madrigals
12: Hot Water Music.

A modest little number. But some of the best. I believe.

Nice collection, PS. And if you think smaller images will stop me from drooling over the Fante item (or two maybe?) that I see... you're wrong.

Only near complete?! Bah! You call that a collection?!

Okay, it's a lot better than my torn up ghetto copy shelves.

Is that a Terror Street HC way over on the left or a Bill Roberts clam (or something else)?

that would be mr. bill roberts' beautiful clamshell.

and yep, only near complete. the major missing pieces are the black sparrow 1sts of post office and factotum, but i do have the british 1sts as placeholders for the time being...

thanks mdr and 1fsh2fsh!

Appreciate your friends
Fine collection, James, but where is the shirt and pen? Are you holding out? Most of us know about the shirt. It trumps everything.

Rekrab

Usually wrong.
Now if I had a photo of all the cool Buk stuff I've sold over the years, I could wow you all. Great collections, James and PS.

yeah!
fantastic collections!
I fuckin' envy you guys!

unfortunately, I can't afford being a collector.

But luckily being the current head of the Buk-Society, I can post you some other nice things that, even if they don't belong to me, are causing a very nice feeling holding them in my hands:

roni, I've never seen a pic of the bottle of wine. what do you know about it? god I'd love to have one of those. probably the only bottle I'd be able not to open and drink.....

White wine does not usually age well, so it may be very fine vinegar now. roni has the most distinctive nose. It's no wonder someone used him in a painting.

[...] the bottle of wine. what do you know about it?

I only know what it says on the label.
I guess he had these made for the birthday-party.

This particular bottle was on the shelfes of MM.
Daisy was so nice to lend us several things of her father for our the upcoming museum we plan to build in Hanks house of birth. These were some of them.

Very nice. someday I hope to be able to veiw these items in person. A trip to the home country would be great. thanks roni...

... I hope the Buk museum comes through!

Yeah, this will be a fine thing.
The next time I try to get people into the project will be a public address in Andernach during our symposium in August. The owner of the house will be there as well as a representative of the city. I hope many people (esp potential sponsors) will come.

pipelinecosby;
Nice broadsides! PM me and I'll send you a copy of the little Bukowski broadside that I published recently.

Bill

Indeed, that's one of the larger collections of broadsides I've seen. I'm sure folks some here have collections like this, I just haven't seen them. That's an impressive sight.
