Just read that Joe is gone at 70.

A great interpreter of other artist's songs. He found the gospel and the soul hiding in "The Letter". Ray Charles said that in his opinion, the three greatest soul singers were Aretha Franklin, Marvin Gaye, and Joe Cocker.
