Skylight Books

My sister-in-law's sister is currently in L.A. and visited Skylight Books. Who here is familiar with the store and if so what's your opinion? From their site and her fb pics it appears to be a rather cool place, a top notch indie bookstore.

great store - i moved away from LA right when they opened up the 2nd store next door, which makes it even better. they only sell new books, which to me isn't quite as interesting as a store that sells new/used, but they're one of the best in LA for comics/art/photography.

Yeah, the pic posted of the sidewalk sign had Dan Fante listed in June doing a reading there. Not too shabby.

Bing is my search engine at work... Like many things hired by the city it doesn't always work to it's full potential.
