The future of physical books

Here's an interesting piece on the "slow movement" return to analog technologies in a digital world. He starts off talking about film cameras, but gets around to ebooks vs physical books. Posted here because it relates to the sort of small press publishing being done by Bottle of Smoke Press, Chance Press, Tangerine Press, etc.

I find it hard to read more than two paragraphs on a computer screen without drifting away. In fact, when I deal with submissions, I have to print them out and read them as the glare from my screen seems to almost alter my perception of the piece. Mind you, I also use a four track tape recorder, a fountain pen, smoke rolled cigarettes, and have sex with the lights out in the missionary position. Unfortunately, I also have gout and black lung.
