It's a shame so many great music films like this can't see DVD release because it becomes impossible to get the rights to all the music after a certain number of years. A digitized rip of a VHS tape is what I call an unsatisfying viewing experience. Maybe one day.

got the dvd today. they cleaned it up fairly well, and didn't try to do too much with the sound (thankfully left it 2.0 instead of messing with it).
there are bonus features, but I haven't watched them yet.
