perusing ebay as I do, I came across this and was intending on bidding but missed out as I wasn't home. :mad:
Was this a good price? How 'rare' is this as I'm thinking it's pretty bloody rare indeed!!

Hi,
I think that lacking the dustjacket this was overpriced. Much of the price of rare books is in the DJ. This is a second print also. Still there are no copies listed on ABE, so who knows. I know that it would be a tough sell for me to buy this second printing in its condition at that price.

I thought the lack of a dust jacket would keep the price lowish but with nothing to compare it to, it's hard to value. Now that this one's gone, we'll see if someone else puts one up. I'd ideally like a 1st/1st with DJ but then, who wouldn't (lol).
