Oh yes !
Muse is the first rock band I have adulated. I'm now interested by other bands but Matt, Chris and Dom still have a special place in my heart.

My favourite song from Black holes and revelations is Take a bow but this one is also awesome ! It took me some time but I finally succeeded into appreciating this album, even Supermassive black hole (which I found horrible the first time I heard it).

Their next one is said to release in September.

I still can't take Supermassive Black Hole, unless I'm reading something and forget I'm listening. They have this weird Queen/Prince vibe mixed with hard rock and I love it.

Muse is a fine band, although I'm not familiar with their whole material.

I just listened to "Pornography" by The Cure - their last good album.
You can still find a few very good songs on the records afterwards, but most
sound like backgroundmusic in a shopping mall. They were so brilliant and unique
in celebrating an atmosphere of melancholy, I take my trip through "Seventeen Seconds" right now. Deep. How could Smith kick a drummer like Laurence Tolhurst out of the band? Minimal monotenous playing to the point and then the man played tribal drumming before the term was even going round. Was Robert "lost in a forest"? They should have put out an ep with "Shake Dog Shake", "The Empty World" and "Give Me It" in much longer versions and shove the rest of "The Top" up their asses.
And yes, "Friday, I'm in HATE".

...blablabla, I'm just disappointed about what has become of them...

ah well, it'll make for a busy and stinky spring.

Do you know the band Dogpile from Canada? I believe they can be found on myspace. Heavy Industrial/Metal mix. ;)

No, but I have a couple Skinny Puppy records in my collection. also from Canada, referencing dogs, and industrial. but no direct reference to dog turds.

ah well, we can't have everything.

just checked, I only have one Skinny Puppy record. I used to have two. I have to stop lending records to people. I never seem to get them back.

Yes, and ifyou get the records back, they've got scratches and coffee spills on the lyric sheet, like that. Someone even stole my Rich Kids On LSD single some time ago. Bastard.

Thanks a lot Gerard!

After those I had to go back to the harmonium tune just to get the taste of saccharin out of my brain.

I first heard about the Penguin Cafe with this
I was the Music editor for a film called "Full Grown Men" and we tried to get the license to use it but, it was a small film with a small budget so unfortunately it was too much for us to pay.
But i do like them very much.:)

Robbie Williams: 'Misunderstood'
even if you hate him, you might give the a chance...
(I think it's okay.)

I really have a total dislike for RW's music, but I think the guy is great.
Clever entertainer and I believe he's 100% behind what he's doing.
Great sense of humour, that's why I like him.
I remember when he said:"You can call me Roberta now.", pretending his
coming out. :D

Girl's Got Rhythm - AC/DC... I remember, the first time I ever played pool with Mr. G, I had this blaring in his father's billiard room. Haha. :)

I listened to him

as I listened to Britney (I still remember Baby one more time's lyrics

) and Céline Dion (how delighted I was when our music teacher learnt us to play My Heart will go on with our flutes

).

Luckily, I grew up.

Right now, I'm listening to my beloved PJ Harvey in order to prepare myself for her parisian concert in may

Here is a song that reunites two of my favourite artists (in Nick Cave's album Murder ballads, a height of black humour) :

Queens of the stone Age...Aside from the song, which gets me going allright, I like the video even better...and usually I dont pay attention to visuals that try to accompany music.
