Spent all these years not even knowing the bootleg WASN'T Albert Hall. This one's definitely a cleaner, clearer recording.
The Dylan live boxed set is currently outta my league but it is on my list of expensive things to save up for, that and bikes for the boys. Gonna listen to thisSpent all these years not even knowing the bootleg WASN'T Albert Hall. This one's definitely a cleaner, clearer recording.
Johannes, the text is by a famous poet, Léo Ferré. Unfortunately there is no mention of Ferré in the vidéo.I'm not even sure what we are watching here. Whatever it is. A French band, obviously. Rather catchy imagery, don't you think?
It's a pretty good tune too.Nice lyrics from a new Mellencamp tune...
Sounds a lot like Tom Waits -- and I say that in a very positive way. Nice job from mr Mellon Head. It's a pretty good tune too.
Marc Benno is the other guitarist in that pic that played on the L.A. Woman lp w/ the Doors. Put out some good music on his own. Here's a great record I have that he did with the late great Leon Russell.
That's funny. "The later Dylan years" you refer to is his early period later years, Sept 1989, aprox 27 years ago. One could argue he's still working and the later years can't be determined until he dies.Shout out to the later Dylan years...
