On paper, I hate everything about this song. The typical chord progression, the typical melody, the whine-tinged Violent Femmes lead vocal, the hokey count-off at the beginning (why count off a song that starts with just a guitar riff?), but somehow these wacky kids save that cliche stew with an enthusiastic - and I trust non-ironic - performance.
