Now, now, these are "case histories", scientific stuff. Oedipal stuff. Important stuff. It was, of course, the 1960s and sexual boundaries had to be knocked down in whatever way possible. Using "case histories" was just one way.
And, anyway, Buk got into lots of shit for one of his fictional stories about a child molester. ("The Fiend"?)
It's not often that somebody writes a story about a child molester where we view it from the molesters point of view.
