Buk Trivia... Answerer becomes next Questioner

Oh hell, that's OK :D
I was not serious.

If Jeffers was not right, I want to see if someone can answer your question.
It saves me having to come up with one that you will answer in just seconds :)

o.k.
Now, I sure wasn't wanting to post a too easy question. But am surprised (and proud - haha), it seems to be really hard.
well, to end it, here's a really true tip:
Do NOT think of his real influences! Think of an answer, he not only WOULD give, but gave in one of his own texts!

(btw thanks for your compliment)

Answer to make me look somehow noble; Oh no no...Bukfan deserves to go next because he answered a question that I couldn't.

Real answer; I can't think of a question it wont take seconds to answer!

You go, Bukfan :)

Ok, here we go:

In 1985 a miniature book about Buk was published. The title was "The King of San Pedro". - Who wrote it?

Ok, let's look at the poems...

The book title "What Matters Most Is How Well You Walk Through The Fire" is taken from the last stanza of a Buk poem. What's the name of the poem?

So, here's to the horseracing-afficionados:
A ripoff concerning the toteboard happened on March 22nd, in 1968.
Which track?

Only two minutes, huh? This is a shot in the dark because I don't know that line, but I'm going to throw Tammie out (from Women, I forget what her real name was) because I think she fits the phrase...

Since Ponder found out it's from War All The Time, it wasn't difficult to look it up and find out her name is Rene.
If that's correct I'll leave my turn to Ponder...

Perhaps is someone able to tell us first, who is/was René?

It's the name of the girl in the poem. If she is a real person, then it's probably not her real name. I never heard about Buk knowing a girl named Rene. Maybe he changed her name...

I can't confirm the answer but let's try:

The first word Buk's daughter Marina learned to read was . . . . . .
