Sorry, I didn't have time to come here earlier...

What was the link between Hank and Pete Townshend ?

...I'm not much more inspired than that :p

Linda and Pete Townshend were both devotees of Meher Baba. Buk thought she and PT were having an affair.

The infamous argument between Linda and Buk in The Bukowski Tapes is after Linda had come home from a Who concert ( i think)

I don't have loads of Buk info at my fingertips, so my question will probably be an easy one:

Who conducted Buk's funeral rites?

Buddhist monks ?

I don't remember if she came back from a Who concert or if she ever came back from somewhere that precise night.

According to Sounes, at that time Linda was attending Who concerts and the after parties while they were in town.

Buk was not interested in that scene and, as we know from his earlier life, he expected his women to be at home for him. When they weren't, he assumed they were out screwing around.

I know that, but I was talking of the very night where he beat her in presence of a journalist and a camera.

"his women" ---> as if he had a harem :D

The only such occasion I am aware of is where he literally kicked her off the couch on the Buk Tapes, and that aggression was in relation to Linda's late nights out with Townshend and friends.

Yes, that was the "only such occasion" but that was not what I meant ! I can't express myself more clearly in english, sorry.

It's my turn, no ? I'll try to find a good question with the help of my books for that evening !

"So fuck Doubleday Doran"

They were both handsome.

Ok, no idea. I believe Bundy Ted studied law
so that is not what they had in common.
Still no idea.

Appreciate your friends
Their names start with 'Bu' and they had dealings with multiple women in the 70s. What a horrible person to compare to. Oh, and Ted Bundy was in Philadelphia in the 50s.

Charismatic, yes. The documentary I've shown depicted him as an attractive man. The kind of guy who approached girls with so nice manners to ask them for help that it was impossible to refuse. I would have fallen in his trap easily, I like helping people and I'm very sensitive to good-mannered men (a so rare specie).

I'm thinking to his father. He's unknown but some hypothesis exist. Some say that Bundy is the result of an incest. Other pretend that the father was a former military, like Bukowski senior.

nope. jeez, i didn't realize they had so much in common.
Indeed :D

Hum...let me see...
What about the Bois de Boulogne, at the exact place where Issei Sagawa left the two suitcases containing what remained of the body of the Dutch girlfriend he partially ate ? Such a romantic setting for a first (and last) meeting !

Yes, and his grand-parents were said to be his parents.
